The mobile phone has been of great
help in the world at large and it has
help the world today in the aspect of
communication. With this i want to
say gud day to my moderator, panel
of judges, d time-keeper and my co-
debators, my name is ------ and i want
to go against the motion that the
secondary school students should be
allowed to use mobile phones during
school hours and i have two ways to
prove myself.
First of all, ever since d invention of
mobile phone, most student have
been unable to concentrate on their
studies but rather they have choose
to make the phone a device for
womanizing by means of chating all
day with either their lovers or their
classmates when the lecture is going
one and they dnt listen to teachings
anymore.
Lastly, many students have used the
mobile phone as a device for
malpractice. That is to say that they
have failedto read their books but
rather they choosed to store or browse
answers on the phone and then take
it to the exam hall bt unknowingly to
them that a time will come when
they will be unable to use the phone
in a particular exam and for this
reason, they might easily end up
failing such exam becos they have
failed to read their books.
So with the following views of mine, i
want to say that the use of phones
during school hours should be
scrapped out in other to enable
students to focus on their studies.
Thank you.
Note:-please note ..... means paragraph

This topic makes me remmebr a story of a
wretched
boy who lalately became a successful. one
day,
father
gathered us together and threw a question to
us
(Children, do think an orphan can be
successfull).
I
could see in you that this appears thetorically
to
you. I
will provide the answer to the question myself
through
this story.
……….Once upon a time, there was a boy
called
petter
Nmandi, This boy was born with a sliver
spoon in
his
parent was an afflunce but things just turned
upside
down all of a sudden. It was a christmas day
when
the
family went to eatery to mark celebrate
christmas.Although they celebrateit in a unique
way
and the family enjoyed it, It created a great
sorrow for
peter when they had out crash while coming
back
and
lose his parent immediately. Peter became an
orphan
due to his parent’ts deaths they brought him to
village
to stay with his uncle.
……….Peter continued his education at the
village
and
managed to finish his secondary school there.
Peter
furthered in his education by obtaning a
university
admission and matriculation from (UME). the
sat
for the
necdcessary examination and was waiting for
adminssion. While his breath last in the
hospital.
Peter
became hopeless afther his uncle burial;
Nobody
is
ready to ready to render help no money from
any
sources to secure his admission.
……….Despite the fact that peter had nobody to
sponsor,he was still strugling to further his
education,
peter became labourer labouring in the village
to
fetch
money for his education purpose. though
there
were
sereis of ear to them and had a great
orientation
that if
there is life, there his hope.
……….After five consecutive years of suffering
and hard
labour, peter became an industrial chemistry
graduate
the hardly finished his service at calabar when
he
secured a job at bendnext pharmaceatical
company
with an huge amount of salary.
By the time peter came back to village, he had
become
a successful and everybody learnt from him
that
WHEN
THERE IS LIFE, THERE IS HOPE.
